Tonight’s the book launch event for my first poetry collection — Haiku Pickup Lines: Volume 1. It’s being hosted by Page & Post, a delightful papergoods shop in our West Greenville neighborhood. I couldn’t be more excited to be a local author and illustrator reading my own self-published book at a local bookstore a short walk from my front door. It’s like something out of Brigadoon, but we just live here all the time.
The books, along with 36 new illustrated greeting cards, will be available for purchase (and wholesale!) online soon. In the meantime, here are five of my favorite poems from the book, with a gallery of illustrations at the end:
